Put simply, UV Coating is a chemical treatment which can be applied to various mediums such as paper, glass, plastic, aluminum, and wood.

The process is very basic: UV Coating is applied to materials as a liquid and is then dried under UV light.

How does it help your prints?

UV Coating enhances sheen (luster, gloss, shininess), makes colors appear deeper and more vibrant, and protects the treated material from fading due to UV radiation.
